Our Story

A table set close to the ground it came from

Harvest & Vine is a wood-fired gastropub in a restored feed mill just off the square in Lititz — cooking the harvest of the valley that surrounds it, one season at a time.

A Table Set Close to the Ground It Came From

Harvest & Vine began with a simple frustration: we lived in one of the richest growing regions in the country, yet so much of what we ate had traveled a thousand miles to reach the plate. We thought a restaurant could do better by looking no farther than the next farm over.

We opened the doors in 2016 in a restored feed mill just off the square in Lititz. We built the kitchen around a live-fire hearth, planted a kitchen garden out back, and started driving to the farms and orchards ourselves. The menu was never meant to stay still — it moves with what our growers pull from the ground each week.

Ten years on, we work with more than two dozen family farms, dairies, and foragers across Lancaster County. We pay them fairly, cook their harvest simply, and pour wine and cider from people who care as much as we do. When you sit down at Harvest & Vine, you are eating a snapshot of this valley, right now.

What we stand for

Three things we hold to, plate after plate

Nearly everything on the plate is sourced within thirty miles. What is not in season here, we simply do not serve.

Cooked with Fire

Cooked with Fire

Our open hearth burns local oak and applewood. It is the heart of the kitchen and the soul of the food.

Rooted in Community

Rooted in Community

We pay our farmers and our team fairly, and we host our neighbors like family. Good food starts with good people.

The people behind it

A small crew, a short supply chain

Our cooks drive to the farms themselves, our servers know the growers by name, and our bar pours from cideries and vineyards a few valleys over. It is a deliberately small operation — small enough that the person who picked your greens this morning might be the one who pours your wine tonight.

We pay our farmers and our team fairly, keep the menu honest, and treat every table like a neighbor at the kitchen door. That, more than any single dish, is the recipe.
